Dog walking in Cressington from £13
Tell us about your dog — same-day reply.
Cressington is one of South Liverpool's best-kept secrets — an exclusive Victorian riverside enclave of leafy private roads, grand villas and the Mersey right at the end of the street. It's about as lovely a place to walk a dog as the city has, and Tail Trek Adventures are Heather and Jake, your fully insured, genuinely local dog walkers on hand whenever you need us.
With only two of us, your dog always sees the same familiar face, and every walk finishes with a photo and an honest update — so wherever your day takes you, you always know how your dog's is going.
Cressington Promenade is the jewel: a genteel Mersey-side walk with its restored Victorian gates, wide river views and big, breezy skies — flat and easy enough for any age of dog. The quiet, tree-lined avenues of Grassendale Park lead gently down to the same shore, perfect for a calm, contained stroll.
For a longer outing, Otterspool Promenade stretches north along the river towards the city, a proper two-mile blow-the-cobwebs-away walk. We time riverside walks to make the most of the breeze on warm days and pick the sheltered roads when the wind whips in off the Mersey.
Whether you're commuting from Cressington station or working from a home office overlooking the river, the day still fills up — and a dog shouldn't be left waiting for their walk. Our group and solo walks, puppy visits and drop-ins fit neatly around your schedule, with free collection and drop-off from your door.
The promenade is glorious in every season, but the river can turn blustery and the paths damp — so we come prepared with towels and always hand back a clean, dry dog. On hot days we walk at the cooler hours, and for nervous dogs we favour the calm early mornings by the water.
Everything your dog needs, right here in Cressington.
