Festival Gardens is the local gem — beautifully restored riverside gardens with woodland walks, lakes and sweeping Mersey views, ideal for a proper sniffy explore. Just to the east, Princes Park offers a lake, islands and open greens for a sociable, steady walk in one of the city's loveliest Georgian parks.

For a longer stretch, Otterspool Promenade runs south along the shore with big skies and river breezes. We rotate these spots to keep walks interesting and plan each route around your dog's energy, age and confidence.
